Welcome to the Coreus Cots For Tots Fundraising page!

This year the Coreus team has voted for Cots For Tots to be our chosen Charity of the Year. Over the next 12 months we will fundraise to help provide pioneering equipment and facilities, family comforts and accommodation for families across the South West, South Wales and beyond who visit St Michael’s NICU for life-saving care.

Our Director of Enabling Services, Helen Mason, is especially pleased that the team chose Cots for Tots this year as it is a cause very close to her heart.

"My little girl, Felicity, was very poorly when she was first born. At less than 24hrs old she was taken by ambulance over 70 miles away to St Michael’s hospital in Bristol to be operated on. 

Felicity made it through the operation and the next day we were reunited. I stayed with my partner at the Cots for Tots house on the hospital grounds, which meant we could spend as much time as possible with Felicity whilst she recovered in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

The care she received was world class and whilst it was the worst experience of my life, I came away from it feeling incredibly lucky and eternally grateful. I got to take my baby home.

So you can imagine how thrilled I am that the Coreus team will be fundraising for such a worthwhile cause and I can't wait to start working with the Cots for Tots to plan lots of events and activities to help babies like Felicity and families like my own."

Our first fundraiser is an office cycle, taking place from Monday 11th October - Friday 15th. We are aiming to cycle the distance from Lands End to John O'Groats: 874 miles!
