Story
This year will be 13 years since the DLRAA saved my Dads life and kept my family together. We can never give enough to show how grateful we are for the service they provide, but we do as much as we can to share his story and how important the Air Ambulance is. As I started bike riding last year I thought what better way to challenge myself and raise some money than attempt a 140 mile ride! On the 28th April I will be setting off from Whitehaven on the west coast and riding to Newcastle on the east coast. Please donate whatever you can, your support means everything to me and my family 💛
Every day of the year, your local air ambulance (Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland) is helping save more lives. Our critical care paramedics, doctors and pilots attend an average of five rescue missions a day. The air ambulance gives people the very best chance of survival and recovery. We are supported by a Critical Care Car meaning that we can reach those who need us 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. The charity receives no government funding for its daily missions.
