Story

We adopted Cora 5 years ago after fostering her for Hurricane Irma.  Cora was not an easy cat at the shelter.  She did not get along with other animals or most humans, but the shelter made sure to give her a chance by separating her to let her best qualities shine, which was not easy at the old location.  She was there for over 1 1/2 years before we made the decision to bring her home.

Raising money for the FKSPCA is so important because even though we have difficult animals like Cora, if they are happy and healthy, they will stay with the organization until they find their furever home. Donations to our organization means that we can continue our lifesaving mission and another 'Cora' will have the second chance to find her family.
