Story

Cora wants to raise money for a charity very close to her heart. Her Granny Anne died only a few months after being diagnosed with Nuroendocrine Pancreatic Cancer.

Her granny died before her or her older sister ever got a chance to meet her. This makes Cora very sad and she loves looking at pictures of her granny and asking her mummy about her and what she was like.

Cora saw Pyjamas for Pancan and decided to get her whole school involved in rasing money for Pancreatic Cancer Action.

Her whole school will wear Pyjamas on Wednesday 23rd April and would love your support to raise money for this charity.

Pancreatic cancer is the 5th biggest cancer killer and the 10th most common cancer in the UK. In the UK, 93% of all patients die within 5 years of diagnosis.

The money raised goes aiding awareness of symptoms to ensure early diagnosis and enable life-saving treatment.

Cora hopes that Grannies or other family members of people in the world can get earlier diagnosis or treatment so they can stay with their families longer and meet their grandchildren.
