Story
My Dad received the most amazing care during the last 10 days of his life at The Hospice Of The Good Shepherd in January 2022.. They supported all of us and i honestly couldn’t have wished for any better care. & support during this extremely hard time in our lives. Since that time i decided to raise money for the hospice to try and give something back.
Straight away in May 2022 I ran the Chester half marathon
In August 2023 I faced my fear with a tandem skydive!
So what challenge could I possibly do next? The London marathon of course. I feel so privileged to be offered a place running for the hospice and am training hard already. On 8th October I ran my first ever marathon in Chester in a time of 03:37:26 all in preparation for the big one in April. So now i have a target to beat 3hours 37mins and run a sub 3hour 30min marathon.
Please sponsor me !
I have to raise a large amount but the hospice truly need all the support.

Hospice of the Good Shepherd provides its services free of charge to its patients and costs £5.1million to run each year with just 20% of the funding we receive coming from statutory sources. The remaining 80% is raised from a range of fundraising activities and the support of our the generous local community in Cheshire. In addition, they raise money through their local charity shops and weekly lottery.
