Story
I am going to push myself out of my comfort zone to raise money for the Hospice of The Good Shepherd.
On 1st July I will jump out of a plane at 10,000 feet as a tandem skydive! I am excited but also a bit nervous. Last year I ran the Chester 1/2 marathon in memory of my Dad after he lost his battle.. My Dad received outstanding care for 10 days whilst at the hospice. So this year I wanted to do something a bit different hence the skydive.
Please help me reach my target if you can and support this amazing place. Thank you x
The Hospice of the Good Shepherd provides its services free of charge to its patients and costs £5.1million to run each year with just 20% of the funding received coming from statutory sources. The remaining 80% is raised from a range of fundraising activities and the support of the generous local community in Cheshire. In addition, they raise money through their local charity shops and weekly lottery.
