Story

Andy, once a keen runner, hasn’t run since his last Sheffield 10K, 6 years ago. He has decided to dust off his running shoes and go one more time in aid of this great charity. With 3 months to train, throw in a pulled calf and a holiday. He will be doing this run on about 8 weeks training and it will not be easy.

Also, as we come towards the end of our Master Cutler Challenge journey, which has been full of events and challenges in aid of raising as much money as possible, it came to our attention that August looked quite empty in our fund raising calendar. Our very own Mat has decided to put himself through the pain barrier and run 31 5k runs in 31 days throughout August. Mat will be running every morning at 6am before his day at work to complete this challenge. 31 5k runs in 31 days works out to be 155k / 96.31 miles in a month. For Mat, this will be running a years distance in a single month, so a very good challenge for his body. Any money at all that you are able to donate will be hugely appreciated.
