2020 is the Year of the Nurse and Midwife, celebrating Florence Nightingale's Centenary Year. Chief Nurse at West Herts Hospitals NHS Trust, Tracey Carter, and Raise will allocate this special fund to projects to benefit and educate our nursing team.
Story
2020 is Florence Nightingale's bicentennial year, designated by the World Health Organisation as the first ever global Year of the Nurse and Midwife. Nurses and midwives make up the largest numbers of the NHS workforce. They are highly skilled, multi-faceted professionals from a host of backgrounds.
In conjunction with the Chief Nurse (Tracey Carter) at West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust, Raise is raising funds in 2020 which will be allocated to projects aligned with this.
