On the of 15th January at 10 am, children from years 1-6 at Cookham Dean Primary School will be taking part in the 38th Annual Maidenhead Lions Swimarathon. They will swim as a relay in groups of 8 to see how many lengths they can complete in just under an hour. This is such a fun event and we have had a huge response from children wanting to be involved. All abilities are welcome from the youngest children in year 1, many of whom will swim their first whole length to those in years 5 and 6 where it can get quite competitive! Any money raised by our team will be split evenly between the Maidenhead Lions, a charity that supports people in the local area, and our school PTA. 

Last year we were just short of meeting our £2k target. Let’s see if we can do it this year!
