Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We would like your help to create a lasting memorial. This would be a Memorial for those who received contaminated blood or blood products in the course of medical treatment. This was either in the form of blood products for Haemophilia treatment or blood transfusion. Those affected were infected with Hepatitis C and/or HIV. Those affected were of varying ages including children and adults.

The people affected were often left with huge health issues and many lost their lives prematurely as a result of receiving contaminated blood/blood products.

We want to create a memorial in Scotland for friends and families to visit to remember loved ones. A symbol of not only the lives lost but their battle so bravely fought. A positive place to remember happy times. We would like it to be something beautiful, evocative and have significance for all those involved.

Please help us make this Memorial a reality.
