Story
On 7th May 2022 a team from Consort will be taking on the National Three Peaks Challenge. The challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales, within 24 hours (is the aim!)
The total walking distance is 23 miles and the total ascent is a huge 3064 metres (with lots of driving miles in-between) - this is no mean feat for any of us but it is all for a great cause.
We are raising money for a great local charity - The Robin Cancer Trust .
The Robin Cancer Trust is the UK's germ cell cancer community - our mission is to stop young adults dying from germ cell cancer. Please donate what you can to help fund our online cancer awareness campaigns, life-saving educational talks, and support services for individuals and families affected by germ cell cancer.
£10 funds an online awareness campaign reaching thousands of young adults £25 directly educates 200 students on the signs and symptoms of germ cell cancer £50 provides support to an individual/family affected by germ cell cancer.
Please check out the web page below which provides some background to the inspirational story behind the charity and the reason they do what they do.
