Story

Hi All,

I am going on one of the oldest Pilgrimages in Europe this June and I have decided to do it as a sponsorship event to raise money for The Guild of Our Lady of Good Counsel.

The Chartres Pilgrimage starts on the 1st June from Notre Dame Cathedral, Paris and takes the approx 75 mile journey to Chartres Cathedral which takes 2 and a half days to complete. Each night we sleep in tents and then wake up at ungodly hours of the morning to start again.

For those of you who have not heard of The Guild of Our Lady of Good Counsel, they are a pro-life charity which supports expectant and new Mothers in the most difficult and desperate situations to help them to choose life for their baby. They also support pro-life organisations such as The Good Counsel Network. The Good Counsel Network is an Organisation whose main aim is to reach out to abortion bound women to help them to choose life by offering them financial, spiritual and moral support. If you would like any more information about either of the organisations mentioned above please call 0207 723 1740 and ask to speak to Conor or Stuart.

Please sponsor me as much as you can if you are able to. This charity does very important and very neccessary work and is always in need of our support.

Thank you in advance for anything that you can donate.

God Bless

Conor Carroll
