Story
My dad Nick sadly passed away on the 29th Jan 2021 after a long, long fight with cancer. He has left a huge hole in our hearts and we miss him more than we can describe. But please know that he is now at peace. Completing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge made him so proud and I will continue to raise money for the Christie Trust with future challenges for the rest of my life. Christie’s hospital provided him with beyond phenomenal care until the very very end and I owe them a debt beyond anything I can describe.
He loved climbing mountains and they were his second home.
Thank you all so much for your support and donations.
The Christie charity is aiming to raise £23 million for the proposed construction of a new centre in Macclesfield where Christie patients will be able to receive outstanding cancer care, closer to home.
it is a fantastic hospital doing great work for people living with cancer.
They have done an amazing job supporting my Dad and our family and deserve all the praise in the world
