I'm raising money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association by running a half marathon (22k) on May 14th in Leeds, for Rob Burrow’s MND marathon day. MND is a rapidly progressing disease that attacks the nerves in the brain and spinal cord. MND can affect how you walk, talk, eat, drink and breathe. Currently there is no cure. I would love your support, as every penny counts in making life much easier for people with MND and funding a cure. I’ve recognised the incredible effect that the MND association has had in assisting those diagnosed with this horrible dehumanising disease. Donations allow the association to purchase iPads with special software for those who loose their function of speech, and also special carers who are trained in assisting those with MND specifically.
