Story
Conor's story:
I am 13 years of age and I enjoy taking part in pretty much all sports including swimming. I have chosen the National Autistic Society (NAS) because I am autistic myself and would like to help others like me to get the support that they need. Please sponsor me because I am trying to raise at least £250 for this charity. Thanks. Conor H.
Bridget's story:
I am 58 years old and needed something to motivate me to do some exercise. I've always wanted to do an open water swim (it's been on my bucket list for years!) so I thought who better to do it with, than Conor, my eldest grandson. We're both doing a half a mile open water swim in Lake Windermere on 14 June this year.Conor chose the charity and I cannot think of a better cause. I've seen how hard he (and all his family) have found his Aspergers' and how they have really pulled together, not just to cope with it, but to ensure that they work with (and against it sometimes) for the good of them all. I am very proud of Conor for how he is managing his condition, and of his Mum and Dad and his brothers and sister, for the support they give him and each other. The least I can do is a short cold water (!) swim. Please sponsor us so that NAS can help others.
