After recently receiving tragic news that Ben Hobday is battling cancer, we felt an overwhelming desire to help in anyway we could. 

Within minutes, a short phone call provided the foundations to the Coast to Coast Canoe Challenge.

As we start to plan and train, we estimate to cover roughly 160 miles, passing through numerous towns, negotiating countless locks and visiting the odd pub. We will embark at the break of dawn on Friday the 7th of August and hope to finish up in Goole on Sunday the 10th. 

It's going to be tough but battling cancers tougher! 

We hope that with the support from friends and family as well as the general public, we will smash the challenge, our £1000 target and cancer!
