Story
As you may be aware Connor was recently diagnosed with a form of Leukaemia called ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia).
Devastating news, but the little man is showing tremendous strength to fight it, like a true superhero!
Connor has been receiving treatment at the RVI Hospital in Newcastle. The staff and support on Ward 4 and Ward 14 is incredible, they do an amazing job to help in whatever way they can.
So we want to give back, my family and I have decided to take on a few challenges to raise some funds and awareness of the Children's Cancer Fund:
Hadrain's Wall - 140km running the full length of Hadrian's Wall from Bowness on Solway to Wallsend over two days in April 2020 - (please message me if interested in running part of the route or want to come along and cheer us on)
Children's Cancer Run - Sunday 17th May - Newcastle Race Course, Gosforth park - 1, 3 or 5 mile options - we would love for as many people as possible to join us so please do sign up here: https://www.neccr.org.uk/event/childrens-cancer-run-2020/
Great North Run - The World's Biggest Half Marathon, 21km and a chance to do it in fancy dress together!
Kielder Marathon - 42km up and down hills around Kielder Reservoir, there is plenty of time to train so sign up and join our team.
Also looking at doing a raffle and some other events throughout the year, so keep an eye out for updates.
We greatly appreciate any donations and your support throughout, Connor will be undergoing his own endurance challenge, but will use his super powers to get to the finish line!
Thank you
