Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On June 09th 2010, both Ian and myself will attempt to trek Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania to raise much needed funds for Northern Ireland Cancer fund for Children (NICFC).

At 5,896m, Kilimanjaro is the highest free standing mountain in the world, and this challenge of a lifetime will take us a total of nine days to reach the summit.

As part of our challenge, we are required to raise a minimum of £4,000 each

Our fundraising will directly help NICFC provide many more families with much needed quality time together away from hospitals, clinics and treatment regimes, where they can be nurtured and supported at Shimna Valley Village.  While we add value in our daily roles, it seems insignificant when measured against the work carried out daily by NICFC and we can’t think of a better charity to trek Kilimanjaro for.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Many Thanks for your support
