Story
Thanks for taking time to visit my just giving page. I’m competing in this years tough mudder 5k and raising money for alder hey children’s charity. I wouldn’t be where I am today without the talented team of doctors, nurses, surgeons and of course my cardiac consultant Dr. Peart. I was born with a condition called tetraology of fallots (TOF) this is a congenital heart defect that affects the blood flow around my body. When I was 11 months old I had open heart surgery to patch a hole up, also they performed pulmonary valve replacement. At age 16 I had another open heart surgery where I had pulmonary valve replacement and pulmonary valve reconstruction. Then in 2019 I had further surgery, this time it was done through cardiac catheterisation, a small incision in my groin, up to my heart. Although I had this done at broad green hospital, I was still under my hero Dr. Peart
I will be forever grateful for all of their hard work and it’s time for me to show my appreciation to them.
I’m not asking for much, just a small donation which can go a long way into more research, equipment and technology for new born babies that are diagnosed with TOF.
