I'm running the London Marathon!

Fundraising for Blood Cancer UK
I'm running the London Marathon for my amazing friend Sinead who was diagnosed with an Acute Leukaemia in January and is now on her healing journey.
In just 5 weeks (4 of those in hospital) Sinead raised OVER NINE AND A HALF THOUSAND POUNDS for Blood Cancer UK and has now moved her efforts towards raising money for her high isolation ward (The Adelaide ward) to improve their patient and family experience. In total she's now raised OVER THIRTY THOUSAND POUNDS!! 😲
I applied for a Blood Cancer UK charity place in the London Marathon not thinking I'd get one, so I signed up to do the The Big Half instead. A month later I got an email saying I'd got the charity place for the London Marathon so now I'm running both, 4 weeks apart lol 🙃
Please please please donate whatever you can to this amazing charity that is behind the research that is saving my Sinead's and so many others lives!
Thank you!! Lots of love, Connie ❤️

Please also consider registering to become a stem cell donor - it's just a quick cheek swab to get on the register and if you're found to be a match, the majority of the time you'll just need to give blood. What an easy way to save a life! The links below are dependent on your age and you can only register to one.

Sinead's story
"After getting COVID in early January, I didn’t bounce back as I expected, a visit to the hospital and a bone marrow biopsy later confirmed I had a type of Leukaemia, which is blood cancer in my bone marrow.
The whirlwind of the last few days has been overwhelming. I’m in hospital and I’m starting treatment right away in high isolation and will be here for a little while. My life is on pause for now, but I’ll come back from this stronger than ever. I will not be defeated.
If there’s anything you want to do - please make a small donation or sign up to the Anthony Nolan bone marrow register.
This is the research that is saving my life, this is the research that gives me hope, this is the research that will get me to the end of this nightmare.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️"
