Story
Our dad is currently in hospital after suffering a recent Stroke, which has left him without the use of the left side of his body. In a helpless situation we’re trying to feel helpful to raise money & awareness for such an important charity. His determination is amazing and we would like to give back to the charity that will help him and many others through a really difficult time. Anything will be greatly appreciated. Love goes out to anyone who has been through this. 💜
I'm taking on 100 miles in April! I'm challenging myself to walk or run 100 miles throughout April while also raising money to rebuild lives after stroke.100 miles in April is a fun way for us all to keep active and raise vital funds to help rebuild lives after stroke. Your fundraising can help in incredible ways:• £150 could help pay for research into new stroke treatments, such as thrombolysis, a clot-busting drug that returns the blood supply to the brain that has transformed the outcomes of stroke survivors who have received it.• £250 could pay for one hour of Helpline activity, helping the families of stroke survivors support their loved ones after stroke.• £300 could enable a Co-ordinator to demonstrate how to use My Stroke Guide to a stroke survivor, empowing them to take control of their recovery and feel less isolated
