Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I've been accepted on the ICS programme to volunteer in one of the countries, such as Nepal and Tanzania, where they do fantastic work helping local communities.

ICS, International Citizens Service, is a programme part of VSO (Voluntary Service Overseas) that gives young people, like me, the opportunity to join one of their teams in a developing country. Their work aims to find the root causes of poverty and fight them by working with the community, eventually with the hope that the country can become less dependent on aid.

The money I'm fundraising for is not to fund my trip; it will go to ICS, making it possible for other people from around the world to volunteer on their projects, fighting poverty in the process.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Donations of any size will be hugely appreciated.

Thanks to everyone for your support!
