I am excited and honoured to be headed on my third mission to Honduras! The past two missions were truly an amazing experience working with great teams to bring health care options to the people of Valle de Angeles, who truly touched my heart. We are sent to these remote areas that don't have access to health care, to promote health options and autonomy for acute and chronic illness as well as preventative measures with homeopathic medicines. HTSF (Homéopathes de Terre Sans Frontieres/Homeopaths of a world without Borders)is a branch of TSF-Terre sans Frontiers, a Quebec charitable organization supporting the poorest populations of the developing world.

This mission's purpose is not only to revisit the people at the Clinic in Valle de Angels, which has been functioning for 20yrs thanks to our founders Martine Jourde and the late Father Pedro Drouin, but will also include the development of two new dispensaries in the communities of Teupasenti and Opatoro. I am fortunate to be chosen to be part of the team that will be working to begin implementing the New HTSF/TSF Integrated Project. This Project has a 5 year plan, to bring integrative health and sustainable community development through Homeopathy and homeoprophylaxis to four pilot projects in Honduras.

We as missionaries will be setting up dispensaries, applying health care to local people and helping to train health professionals and care givers of these communities to integrate first line homeopathic remedies into their health care. These are situations which allow us to see how efficient and empowering homeopathy can be  not only as individual treatment but to entire communities and environmental issues at hand. Of course we are there to learn as well what these communities have to teach us. Faced with poverty, over crowding, lack of clean water and food, and diseases, these communities come together to help and support in anyway possible. They are willing to learn, teach and share to aid their people to overcome life's tragedies and prevent, where possible, outbreaks of diseases known to theses areas such as Chagas, Chickungunya, Dengue, and Malaria.

Each participant of these missions fundraises to pay their way and housing while abroad. All extra money collected over the amount of our individual flight, room and board will go toward supplies needed for the clinics in Honduras. No amount is too small and I appreciate any and all contributions!
