Story
Last year we completed the Para10 endurance race and this year we are back.....read on why we are doing it and what your money goes towards.
In June 2008 a family friend Dave was killed while serving in Afghanistan with the 2nd battalion the Parachute Regiment. In July 2009 we attended a memorial for dave in his hometown of Carlisle for us it was a chance to pay our respects and also celebrate the life he had lived, after all it was widely known he was "the little guy with the big heart".
After the memorial we heard about the para's 10 challenge which is a 10 mile multi-terrain run which is held at Catterick Garrison, North Yorkshire and decide what better way to pay tribute Dave who was also know for being an outstanding soldier and someone who put others before himself than doing the event and hopefully raise some money for the Help the Heroes charity.
