Story
Our team of 11, 'The Legacy of Leo', is running in the 'Color Obstacle Rush' in Windsor on May 7th 2016 to raise vital funds for the Ashfield Fund at the John Radcliffe Hospital.
Leo Phoenix was born at the John Radcliffe Hospital on the 17th Jan 2016, sleeping, at 37 weeks gestation. The care and facilities available to us at the John Radcliffe enabled us to be fully supported and to spend time with Leo before we had to say our goodbyes, as a family. For this, we will be forever grateful.
The Fund contributes to a range of facilities for the Bereavement Team, such as:
£800 for a photography study day for a group of staff
£90 for a supply of materials for providing hand and foot casts over a period of about 2 months
£120 to send one person on a bereavement study day
The hospital is also working towards improving the bereavement suites, and the delivery suite facilities for such situations - these are large scale projects costing thousands.
Please help us raise crucial funds to ensure that this vital training, care and facilities can continue.
