Story
As many of you know Guy's Dad, Robert was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer in 2010, thankfully he's still here to tell the tale, but not everyone is quite as lucky. Simon's friend Phil Ward is sadly no longer with us and still sorely missed by us all.
So in honour of all those who have cancer in any way, shape or form and in order to raise awareness and to fund vital research into improving prevention, early detection and treatment of the disease we're planning to ride my bike from Scarborough in Yorkshire (where a large portion of Guy's Dads family are originally from) 285 miles back home to Copdock, Ipswich in 2 days.
We're hoping that as many of you as possible will join us for part of the ride, whether it's the first 40 miles or the last 2 miles. It'll be great to see some friendly faces along the way and hopefully make as much money as possible for a great cause.
We're planning to set off early on Friday 28th June 2019, and arrive home late afternoon on Saturday 29th June. When we get back to Copdock the guys at The Brook Inn have kindly offered to host the arrival party & BBQ. So even if you don't want to saddle up and join us on the road you can definitely join us for a beer afterwards.
