Overnight on 6 September, there was a catastrophic fire that destroyed our pavilion. As well as Hampton Wick Royal Cricket Club, this ground is home to Harlequins Amateurs rugby, Bedfont Sports FC, Kingston College Football Academy and other community groups.

We have spent considerable time working with our insurers, loss adjusters and our claims adviser.

It’s too early to know what our insurance pay out might be, but it’s clear it will NOT cover everything we need.

We will have clear shortfalls and immediate cashflow needs to get ALL SPORT back on at The Wick as soon as possible.

Amongst other things, we need temporary changing rooms for both men and women and toilets with running water.

We need money now to do that as insurance will not cover those costs.

We can't tell you how grateful we are for all the donations and support we have received. However, we need more to make sure we can get back up and running to provide facilities for the teams and community groups whose home is The Wick.
