Thanks for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page,which is raising funds for Guide Dogs,who do amazing work.

This page was set up by Collette  in memory of someone magical, whose music has helped so many people  navigate their path in life.Thus,it seems fitting to raise funds for Guide Dogs.

It is not an official page,it has never purported to be.The only connection at all is kindness.

It was Collette's idea to host an event and set this page up but lots of people have helped re this.Thanks to all who have helped and who have donated.

There is no official connection at all to George Michael/his estate.This page exists simply to honour someone lovely and to enable people to do something kind,there is no more to it than this.

Collette has very kindly been allowed to use images from Waltz Away Dreaming on here and we thank Toby Bourke for allowing this,it is a genuine honour to see these images on the page.

The original  fundraising target was £300, this was set in advance of an evening Collette arranged at The Flask in February.We went on to raise more funds than anticipated at the start,so we kept the page open.It has now been returned to its original amount,to show how much this grew.

With the help of many people ,we have hopefully  done something very positive to remember someone truly magical.

We thank all involved in both the event and this page and to those who have donated  both in the UK and from across the world.

It has been a genuine privilege to be able to do this to help raise funds and to remember someone so special.George Michael's music will continue to guide  those whose lives he added sparkle to and the funds raised will help others to navigate too.
