We fund equipment and experiences to offer opportunities for SEN children

Story

On the 5th December the Colleen Group Santa Running Team will be lacing up their boots, strapping on their beards, and running 6k around Battersea Park amongst 2,500 other Santas.  It's going to be a santastic experience for us taking part, and we'd like to take this opportunity to raise funds for a very good cause.

The Friends of Mapledown School Charity helps support the activities of the Mapledown School in continuing to offer education and facilities to children with a wide range of disabilities.  Your money will go towards creating a new hoist facility in their hydrotherapy pool so as to improve access for all children and increase everyone's pool time.  Earlier in the year some of us volunteered at the School and we've seen first hand the good work they are doing.

Futhermore, our entrance fees have already been collected and these funds will go towards supporting Disability Snowsports UK, another great charity giving opportunities to disabled children to participate in snowsports.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.  Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

Merry Christmas!
