Story
Back in the saddle again!
This is the first time in 5 years I'm riding in this fundraising event. (WHOOOWHEEEEE we've got some training to do! This is gonna be fun.)
In 2018, I was over the moon for my first ride: I rode with my dad and trained with Dr. Jon Graff (a huge champion of NPC students and the Petrified Forest NP). It was such a special experience. I tell you what, Pedalling the Petrified is absolutely the best way to explore the best national park in the U.S. - it's the best pace to take in the painted desert and curving badlands. I just can't wait to ride this ride again.
The event is on September 30, 2023 which is always perfect weather for a bike ride. It's going to be a great event, and it's for such a good cause. I really believe in my local community, and I've personally benefitted from Northland Pioneer College's facilities and resources, and especially after meeting their faculty, staff, and students and getting connected to them my heart is on fire for the potential of the whole institution.
I hope you can donate. You'll definitely be making a difference. And I sure appreciate your support.
With love & gratitude,
Colleen

NPC Friends and Family supports the mission of Northland Pioneer College, providing, supporting, and promoting lifelong learning, primarily through need-based scholarships for our amazing students. NPC serves Navajo and Apache counties, two of the poorest counties in Arizona, and indeed, the US, yet our students are the finest and bravest you will ever meet. Many are the first generation in their families ever to attend college, and many are working adults, yet they persevere and succeed with your help!
