I will finally be running the Virgin London Marathon this year after COVID scuppered my plans last year! Like many others, cancer has affected our family. My amazing, brave husband is thankfully now fully recovered and we feel incredibly blessed. Many others are sadly not so fortunate and are facing daily battles with cancer. Families are devastated by this awful disease every day. The ICR carry out vital research and clinical trials that enable more lives to be saved. 

So as part of my very belated 50th birthday celebrations, I decided it was a good idea to tick running a marathon off my bucket list.  I appreciate every donation and every penny will motivate me to drag my backside around 26.4 (26.4?!!!) miles. It’s a scary prospect but I am determined to do it! Thank you for your support.
