Story

THANK YOU ALL
FINISHED IN 3:16.

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. Please help me raise funds in Natasha's memory, and give support to CancerBACUP!

Natasha Cairns was a great friend who sadly passed away from Cancer in November 2003. She was a 32 year old mother of 3 children, Jack (7), Phillipa (6), and Megan (3), and beloved wife to Gerrard.

Having seen the horrible suffering that is caused by cancer, choosing to run for CancerBACUP this year was an easy decision.

Natasha was a beautiful woman, with a real zest for living, and a wonderful ability to make a difference to people she came across in her all too brief life. One of my lasting memories of Natasha was last September when she was hosting a ball she had organised for CancerBACUP. She looked radiant and quite dazzling and it barely a week after being told the news we most dreaded. That the Cancer had returned and that it was terminal. She was incredible that night, and it humbled us all.
Natasha was strong to the end, and it was through the support of CancerBACUP that the family were able to understand the disease, seek the help that was available, and be positive when the future looked so bleak. If you are a UK taxpayer your donation will be increased by almost a third at no cost to you. Many thanks for your support. Colin xx
