Thank you so very much to all those friends and family who have supported me in my marathon bid.

I completed the marathon today in rain, hail and sunshine and was pleased to find I had bettered my 2005 time of 4hrs 10mins.

I completed 2008 in 3hrs and 54 minutes and am thrilled.!!  The run was painful and I suffered huge blisters, which were expertly repaired by St Jonhs Ambulance and I enjoyed an hour long massage post run ,courtesy of Tommy's trust. (PURE BLISS)

I am thrilled too that I am on target for raisng between £2,500 and £3,000 for Phyllis Tuckwell which is all down to you.

Thankyou so much to my group of family and friends who were there to support and I cherish the memories of today.
