Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In an effort to raise some money for the Scottish Mountain Rescue I am taking part in the Gullane Beach Triathlon on Sept 10th 2016.  I wanted to do a physical challenge and thought 1 event was too easy so thought I would push myself into doing a triathlon... it might have been a mistake.  Its an olympic distance so consists of 1500m open water swim (with a run up onto the beach and back into the water half way though), a 42km cycle and a 10km run.

Scottish Mountain Rescue do some amazing work helping people who have got into difficulty out on the hills of Scotland.  Also, selfishly, I spend a lot of time on the hills and if I do need help it would be nice to know that I have helped contribute to them in advance.

My brother is also taking part - move over Brownlee's, its the Swan Brothers time now!
