Childline is an amazing charity, whose counsellors understand the sorts of problems children may be worried about and are trained to help. Being a father, and now grandfather, I feel that there is nothing more important than helping Children, and if I can play a small part by fundraising, then I am more than happy to do so.

 

I am taking on the Three Peaks Challenge, that is to climb the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales in 'one go'. Our team will start with Ben Nevis on the Saturday morning, climb Scafell Pike that night and finish Snowdon on Sunday in Wales!

 

It’s a tough event and we aim to complete the mountains in around 13 hours - Ben Nevis in 5 hours, Scafell Pike in 4  hours and Snowdon in 4  hours, however this will depend upon our speed of the group. For the rest of the 24 hours we will be transferring by road to each mountain along the way.
