We support people with brain injury to regain confidence & overcome challenges

Story

Updated on Nov 2nd 2010 at 7:09 PM from the JustGiving API

Today I passed the 1,000 miles run landmark since I got the fitness bug last year. I've burned off over 140,000 calories and run for more than six complete days.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My friend Craig was involved in a serious motorcycle accident in July http://www.motoforum.net/index.php?showtopic=48177&st=20 and is now recovering in Norwich hospital from a severe brain injury. I am running the Larking & Gowing Norwich Half Marathon at the Norfolk showground on 28th November to raise money for Craig’s charity, Headway Norfolk and Waveney. This seems appropriate as Craig loves running. Headway provide services designed to assist with some recovery and to aid and promote independence. In addition they can provide information, advice and support to families affected by a brain injury. You can find out more about the charity below: http://www.headwaynw.co.uk/ As this is a local charity, the money you donate will directly help Craig, Bex and family.
