Story
I have the opportunity to swim from Sealand, the world's smallest country to the UK mainland. it will be my second Aspire swim of the year, this time it will be a relay with my old friend Peter Wagstaff. if you have a few pounds left after the summer you could help me reach my target of £3000 for this year's swims
The Aspire Terriers have received the call to meet in Dover Marina at 2300 on Saturday night. It is a little early and subject to change but it looks like we will be in the Channel for most of Sunday.
I have been very lucky through this pandemic, I have been able to work from home and the Government funded Self-Employment Income Support Scheme has been generous. I have however struggled to train for the event. Swimming pools were closed through the winter and as soon as they were open I lost six weeks to two procedures to rid me of a malignant melanoma. I have since lost another 2 weeks to voluntary self isolation. The swimming therefore will be much tougher than i would have hoped, but your kind donations will spur me on, along with a bit of muscle memory and steely resolve. Needless to say my head will be down and my eyes will be bulging.
If you suffer with insomnia you can track our progress, we are on High Hopes on the link below.

Keep on swimming.
