I am proud to be part of 20 Co-op colleagues across the country to attempt a 14 day trek to Everest base camp 15th May 2021. Our target is to individually raise £5000 (£100000 collectively) for a local causes of our choice.

The charity I have chosen is Mid-Cheshire Mind (registered charity No.1142838). They manage an informal drop in centre for people who have had or are currently experiencing mental health problems.

From people who know me, Barry, a very close friend took his own life back in December 2015 due to mental health issues. I believe centres such as Mid-Cheshire mind can make a profound difference in their local community.
