Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

CASY exist to reduce and relieve the suffering and distress, and to improve the emotional well-being, of young people and their families throughout the East midlands. Each year they support around 1,800 young people and delivery around 16,000 hours of support.

The challenge itself is:

Day one   - Kayak 6 miles of Lake Windermere. - Then bike ride a further 26 miles from Windermere to Wasdale, with a combined high gain of 2,500ft.

Day two - Walking up England highest mountain Scafell Pike.

We are aiming to raise £5,000 for this amazing charity and we need your help to donate.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. CASY is a charity, set up in 1998 to support the emotional wellbeing of children and young people across Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. We work with anyone from the age of 6 to 25 by offering a confidential 1-to-1 counselling service. The young people we support come to us with a variety of presenting issues including: anxiety, low self-esteem, self-harming behaviour, attachment problems and suicidal thoughts. Our support and intervention work is essential to help restore a more stable emotional health platform from which the young person is able to grow. This helps to define the sense of self-worth, provides confidence, independence and resilience.
