Story
We are taking part in the 'Mountain of Grief' summit trail event during SANDS awareness month in June.
In December 2018 our world was turned upside down when our beautiful son Robin was born sleeping. Although he can't be in our arms he will forever be our sunshine and our little boy.
During our stay in hospital we were given a gift box which contained a beautiful knitted basket, blanket, and teddy handmade by volunteers. We were also given the details of SANDS NI to reach out to when we were ready. These wonderful gifts and details gave us so much comfort, knowing Robin could be tucked up with warmth and love. A small act with a huge impact and one we want to help ensure other people can receive and hopefully get some comfort from.
To do this SANDS NI (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Support) need donations to help them provide support to anyone affected by the death of a baby and improve the care bereaved parents receive. Anything raised by SANDS NI goes to help families all over Northern Ireland and we would really appreciate any donation you could make. It really will make a huge difference to those families like us who have to deal with this devastating loss.
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page and look out for some photos of our wee hike!
