We're not out of the woods yet! The Republicans have stacked the Supreme Court with a 6-3 advantage, and without Senate Control, it will not be easy for Democrats to even the odds. Already the 6-3 Court has decided to hear a major LGBT rights case that could potentially block same-sex couples from becoming foster parents!

Thankfully, Lambda Legal has never stopped fighting for our rights. They have been at the center of every major Supreme Court case involving LGBTQ+ rights, and they will continue to be on the frontlines. That's why I'm asking you to help me support them.

We can't do our usual Connecticut Cares fundraiser in person this year, but it was never about the drinks, food, or the runway. It was about US. It was about showing up for Lambda Legal and for Connecticut's LGBTQ and allied community to powerfully demonstrate our resolve to further the case for equality. Our continued, renewed, and increased support is needed now more than ever. Even amidst a global health crisis, our opponents are unrelenting in their efforts to roll back our hard won victories and deny LGBTQ people of equal justice under the law. We need you here with us. Every dollar we raise goes directly to funding Lambda Legal's attorneys for whatever fights await ahead.
