Myself and a couple of friends are taking part in this year's annual Great Wilderness Challenge which is finally back in Poolewe after last year's virtual event. 

I have either taken part in or helped with this event since 1999 raising money for the CRY Joanne Fotheringham Memorial Fund personally and as part of the Ullapool RAF Air Cadets Detached Flight. It is always a great day, raising money for a great cause. In total we have raised over £32,000 over the years.

Last year we raised over £500 in the virtual event and a similar amount raised would be a great achievement.

We will be participating in the 13 mile circular route.
