UPDATE 15th March: I wanted to take this opportunity to thank Everyone who helped me through this journey. I couldn't have done it without your positivity, funding support, and running power!
I am shocked that I personally was able to raise £539! I'm so grateful for all of your donations and doing this fundraising for people's lives it impacts directly, is really very personally meaningful to me.
Seeing that this money is going to young children's care and allowing their parents to learn, is something that is deeply important in my opinion as everyone should have the right to learn!
Thanks again for everything and please find the livlife stats below!
£3000 target smashed = covering the running costs shortfall we had this year. Meaning stability for all the staff, students & preschool children. 179 people directly supported, not to mention the impact on their families & the wider community.
£800 stretch target smashed = new preschool roof & toys for the 45 preschool children. We can’t wait to see those photos! 🥰
We have currently raised £1695 over and above this & are in discussions with KCEM staff about their priorities (likely to be either spent on re-roofing the rest of the centre - costs c.£2000, or on new computers - costs £500 each).
Please keep your donations coming as every penny makes a difference.
Thank you to each & every kind-hearted person who has contributed to the team as a whole (146 people!) The KCEM staff & LivLife trustees are over the moon 😀

Having 3 young children and taking for granted our education system in recent times due to the virus, I think this school is amazing for not only feeding and caring for many young lives but also teaching adults, something that we all deserve access to in life. My lovely friend Jess started this charity and I feel with all the hard work she has put in over the years, in partnership with the school, that it is so important they are able to keep it running. This is a fight to break even during a time that is so difficult. Help me help them!
These are some of the great things they do...
LivLife funds at KCEM per year:
• 14 members of staff receiving stable pay
• 45 children with pre-school childcare 6 days a week
• 120 adults supported through French, English, business, computing and tailoring classes
• 8550 meals of porridge provided for the pre-school children!
