Story

My Mother, Pauline, died last year aged 52, after a 7 year battle against Breast Cancer.

Despite her illness, my Mum’s strength, resilience and zest for life was inspirational. She put a huge amount of effort into raising money for breast cancer charities; trekking the Great Wall of China, climbing Ben Nevis and organising many charity events. Next on her hit list was to trek Peru...  sadly this was not meant to be.

I want to carry on my Mum’s passion for adventure and continue raising money to fight breast cancer in her memory

The task at hand is huge and I shall be running through the streets of London over the next 6 months, come wind, rain, or shine, in preparation for the big day. I aim to run this marathon with every bit of strength and willpower that I have; in honour of all the women and men who have lost their lives to breast cancer and in support of Against Breast Cancer’s research and the hope of a future free from the illness.

Any donation, no matter how big or small, will be gratefully received towards my fundraising target. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Please dig deep!
