Story

Hi and thanks for popping on here. Please allow me to explain a little about this charity and why I want to help...........

Derian House Children's Hospice helps families with children who have life limiting and life threatening conditions. Our son Peter is profoundly handicapped. The respite we have received from Derian has enabled me and my husband John to spend crucial time with our daughters Maria and Jennifer. This special time with our girls has helped us to stay together as a family and we are enormously thankful for that. Derian continues to help us and we know that they will be there for us should we find ourselves in dark times.

This is my way of giving a little back and to help other families who need support from this wonderful place.

The trek is paid for, so every single penny that is donated will go directly to Derian House. I am rapidly approaching 50 and I want to do something whilst I'm still able - body parts are starting to creak and groan so I'm doing this whilst I still can!

If you feel you can help this wonderful charity, I would be incredibly grateful and thankful to you.

Lots of love,

Colette  xxxx
