The Mark Burgan Memorial Fund was set up in Honour & Memory of my handsome nephew. 

To his family he is known as 'Our Mark' to his friends 'Burgo'. Mark is loved and missed beyond words by all of his family and this tragedy has left a void that no one could ever fill. He was the only son and blue eye of his parents (My Sister Rita & Terry ) I know as an aunty I am devastated at losing him but I could never begin to imagine the pain and heart ache they feel as parents.

I am determined to keep Mark's name and memory alive and respected not only by those who loved and knew him,but those who now know of him and the ultimate sacrifice he has made.

I know we can all raise money in various ways and then donate to charities in our own name but what is different about the fund is that any Money raised through sponsorship,fun-days,Gala Dinners etc is all donated to the charities that the fund supports in Marks name .So when the charities receive a donation the cheque is in Mark's name & so they will pause to think and remember him.

Those who did not know Mark will certainly learn about and know of him through the fund and the good that it achieves in Marks name. Mark was a kind loyal and generous person who had a heart of gold and was always willing to help others.
