Story
As some of you may know I've been doing a bit of running and a marathon or three! Now I'm taking on the toughest marathon in Britain, the Snowdonia Marathon.
I'm running it to raise money for the Awyr Las or Blue Sky charity, supporting cancer patients and their families in North Wales.
People often say to me, "I couldn't run a marathon," but running 26.2 miles is nothing compared to facing the news that you or someone who love has cancer.
In the last few years I've lost some dear friends and family to this terrible disease. The money I'm hoping to raise for Las/Blue Sky will help fund some of the added extras - big and small - that go above and beyond what the NHS is able to provide, making a real difference for patients and their families when they need it the most.
I'm not asking you to dig very deep. If everyone I know on Facebook alone gives me the price of a cup of tea then I should reach my fundraising target! In return you'll be playing a part in helping to support a great charity and see me face my biggest running challenge yet!
