I am thrilled to being running my first marathon for Young Lives vs Cancer (formerly CLIC Sargent), an amazing charity that does incredible work supporting young cancer sufferers and their families with specialist care, financial & emotional support. It seems so incredibly unfair when cancer affects a young person and charities like Young Lives impossible situations more bearable. 

I will be running the race with my Dad, Tony. It’s something that we have talked about doing it together for about 20 years (pub talk mainly!) and run my first marathon alongside him will make it extra special (unless, of course, he is finishes ahead of me).
