Story
Student Officers from Cohort 24 of Cleveland Police aim to each travel under their own power the same distance as from the Learning and Development Centre, Grangetown to the Croydon Custody Centre in South London. This is in memory of Sergeant Matt Ratana who was tradgically lost in the line of duty on 25th September at the Croydon Custody Centre, 253 miles away. We are hoping to raise money for the Blue Lamp Foundation who support any Ambulance, Police or Fire personnel who are injured in the course of duty.
The class has a target to achieve 3,542 miles before the completion of our 18 week training.
The team are all making a good effort to get out running and digging out bikes from sheds so we can hit our target distance. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.
