Story
On 28th January 2022, we welcomed identical twin girls into the world. Unfortunately, our twin B, Cody, was born still.
The care we received at Chesterfield Royal Hospital was fantastic - midwives, doctors, nurses and support staff could not have done more for us.
We spent several days in the bereavement room in the Birth Centre, making memories. The room is practical, and we were grateful for it. However, some changes are needed to improve this room for families who find themselves needing to use it. The team at Chesterfield have got some great ideas but need the funding.
In memory of Cody, I am raising money to fund improvements to the bereavement facilities at Chesterfield birth centre to receive a much needed update, to improve the comfort of families during the worst time of their lives. I will be doing several challenges, starting with the Peak District challenge, walking 100km continuously, on 8/9 July.
